GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION: If it is in a house, we fix it. Efficiently complete work orders, rental turnovers, and remodels in a timely and professional manner. Communicate progress/issues with customers and document all work completed in writing. Manage customer expectations and deliver superior customer service. Service Calls and Turnovers require troubleshooting and repairing issues related to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, windows, drywall, fencing, appliances, and irrigation. Complete kitchen and bathroom remodel projects from start-to-finish, performing all trades. Success is measured by billable revenue and customer satisfaction. COMPENSATION: $32-40/hour + a generous benefits package including full medical insurance on day 1, 401k with company match, life insurance, paid vacation, cell phone stipend, and mileage reimbursement. **some benefits have a waiting period. QUALIFICATIONS: 10+ years of experience in residential property maintenance 10+ years of experience in residential remodeling A reliable vehicle capable of transporting common maintenance supplies and tools. Mileage reimbursement is provided for all work-related driving. A smile on your face every day, a positive attitude, and an innate need to be the best at your job Knowledge of building codes related to bathroom and kitchen remodeling Experience repairing & installing all types of residential plumbing and electrical (rough and finish) Dependable; able to work independently with no oversight Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience with computers and smart phones Valid CA driver’s license and clean driving record Ability to lift 75lbs frequently and up to 150lbs occasionally, continuously stand or walk, frequently bend, squat, climb stairs, climb up and down equipment, balance on a ladder, and manipulate hand & power tools. Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, working in attics, crawl spaces, etc. Deadline and detail oriented RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: General handyman work for all issues in a residential property. Complete work orders on-time and on-budget to a professional, workmanlike standard. Complete kitchen and bath remodeling projects from start-to-finish with only general labor help. Fully document all work completed with detailed descriptions and photos/videos using a smartphone. Deliver excellent customer service. Meet productivity goals on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
